My name is Ken Eriksen and I am a 41 year old husband and proud father of three children. I’m an Army Infantry officer and duly interested in most things related to political science. Particularly regarding the Middle East.

Why AboKevin? In Arabic this means the father of Kevin, and lo and behold, I happen to be the father of Kevin In Lebanon, when a man get his first son his friends and family will honor this by starting calling him Abo-the name of his son. Hence whenever I am in Lebanon I get called AboKevin, and since I personally cannot think of any nickname more approriate, I chose it as the nick for my online presence.
